It was so nice having these guys fish with us. They are good ol' country guys and lots of fun. I really hope they plan to make it an annual event. We did a 1/2 day fishing and caught a good catch of blues and spanish mackeral. Next year we will have to do a full daySmile

Pictures are coming

by Captain Brian 24. August 2009 20:49
Just to let everyone know, we will be downloading pics from all the trips and recent Alice Kelly tournament by the end of the week. Jessica and I have had major repairs done to our home that required us boxing up our office. We are really behind and appreciate each and everyone of you fishing with us. Girls from the Alice Kelly, you rock:) Fisher will be of age next year to appreciate the new team name. Thanks again and check the site later this week. Thanks, Capt. Brian

Fishing Reports

Father & son fun

by Captain Brian 10. July 2009 21:56
It was great seeing a father spend time with his son enjoying the sport of fishing. The weather was very sloppy so we cut it short after each one caught a nice tuna. Hope you guys stay in touch!

Fishing Trips

The boys from Philly

by Captain Brian 3. July 2009 20:37
They tried to "bust our balls" all day but the tunas turned the tables and busted theirs. Big ol' muscles had to take turnsLaughing The weather was very foggy in the a.m. but the sun came up and burnt it off. We fished south and the birds they don't lie. Find the birds and you'll find the tuna. The pictures don't lie. Not to forget the white marlin! Thanks guys and we hope to see you in the Philly show this year and back on the Waverunner! Capt. Brian

Chris and all of the guys that I can't remember your name. I hope you all enjoyed your tuna. It started out slow but we pulled it out in the end....couple of flat spots. Although, the box was full in the end. It was a long day but lots of fun. We had some family on the boat today and the pressure was onWink Hope you all come back and fish with us again! Thanks, Capt. Fishing Report

by Captain Brian 28. June 2009 21:03
Sorry we have not been doing our fishing reports but here is the latest. Tunas have been showing up in fair numbers anywhere from the point to the 680. Starting to see a few pilot whales and dolphin fishing is still holding on. We are starting to see more bailers than gaffers. All in all the fishing has been good and the weather has been nice. We have plenty days open in July so give a call. We would love to have you!!

About the Captain

Capt. Brian was born in Henderson, just a few hours from the Outer Banks. He was born in the rural areas on Buggs Island where he grew up catching stripers. His family made lots of trips down to the Outer Banks as he grew up and for years they fished offshore with many boats and at a young age this is what I wanted to do for a living so after finishing school at Vance Senior High in 1988 i made the move to do what I have always wanted to do! Moving to Hatteras, I fished with several captains as a mate for about 7 years then was offered a job as Captain on a private boat based out of League City Texas. I took this time to learn more about the fishing business and got to fish from many places that were very good such as Florida and the Bahamas. Wanting to run his own business, Brian moved back to the Outer Banks where he made his home with his wife Jessica and little boy Fisher. They are blessed to be where they are today and thank you for showing interest in fishing with Waverunner Sportfishing Charters.
